Radar Mast Controller(RMC) is a type of electronic system which controls the vertical movements of the Mast. Radar Mast Controller(RMC) is specially designed and developed for the defense purposes, it receives feedback from multiple sensors and switches.

Radar is a detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, angle or velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, motor vehicles, weather formations and terrain.

Radar Mast Controller(RMC) system reads:

• Limit switch feedback


• Radar Transmission status


• Pedestal stow position


• Radar Elevation and Azimuth Lock status


• Provides that input to the Lifting Control Panel Algorithm, which then decides the vertical movement functionality of the Mast. LRadar Mast Controller(RMC) system gives commands to the inbuilt hex motor drive which in turn drives the motor.
