The fiber optic (FO) modules convert an electrical input signal (TTL) into one or more FO (fiber optical) output signals or FO input signal in one or more electrical output signals.
The optical fiber converter system mainly includes a transmitter and receiver where the transmitter is located on one ending of a fiber cable & a receiver is located on the other side of the cable. Most of the systems utilize a transceiver which means a module that includes transmitter and receiver. The input of the transmitter is an electrical signal and it converts into an optical signal from LED or laser diode.
